Workshops & Training

Common Questions

What is vulnerable customer training?

Vulnerable customer training helps employees recognise and respond appropriately to customers experiencing distress, hardship, trauma or vulnerability. TIPT combines trauma-informed communication, de-escalation, boundaries and practical conversation skills, including tailored programs for insurance and banking teams handling claims, complaints and financial hardship.

What is de-escalation training?

De-escalation training gives employees practical strategies for responding to people who are angry, distressed or overwhelmed. TIPT combines de-escalation techniques with trauma-informed communication, emotional regulation, validation and boundaries.

Can TIPT customise training for our organisation?

Yes. TIPT can tailor training to your industry, workforce, customer groups and psychosocial risks. Programs can be delivered as keynotes, workshops, leadership programs and organisational capability-building initiatives.

We have an EAP: isn't that enough for mental health and psychosocial risk?

EAPs provide valuable support when employees need individual assistance, but they're only one part of managing workplace mental health and psychosocial risk. Psychosocial risk management also means identifying and addressing workplace factors that may contribute to psychological harm, including workload, emotional demands, traumatic exposure, poor support, conflict and organisational change. An EAP supports the person; psychosocial risk management also looks at the workplace.

Leading Psychological Safety in Times of Change

Creating teams that stay connected, adaptable and resilient when everything else is changing.

Interactive Keynote · 45–60 Minutes

In today's workplace, change is no longer an event, it's the environment. Restructures, uncertainty, technological disruption, workforce shortages and increasing psychosocial demands mean leaders are expected to guide their teams through constant change while maintaining trust and performance.

Rather than simply hearing about psychological safety, participants build, reflect and discuss the leadership behaviours that help people feel safe to contribute, innovate and adapt.

Participants will discover

  • Why people resist change (and why it isn't simply resistance)
  • The hidden impact uncertainty has on performance and decision making
  • Practical leadership behaviours that increase trust during change

  • How to create conversations people actually want to participate in
